Celebrating a Year of Impact
The Community Outreach Committee spends each year showing what it truly means to serve with heart. Through hands-on volunteering, creative fundraising, and community-centered events, our members have stepped up again and again to support Northern Colorado. This page highlights the incredible work accomplished throughout the year.
January 2026 – Coat Drive
February 2026 – Larimer County Food Bank
Volunteers dedicated their time to sorting donations, packing food boxes, and assisting with distribution. Their efforts helped ensure that families across Larimer County received essential food support.
March 2026 – FoCo Cafe Food Drive
Members rallied the community to collect food items for FoCo Cafe, supporting its mission of providing nutritious meals to all, regardless of ability to pay.
April 2026 – Earth Day Clean-Up with the Northern Colorado Wildlife Center
In honor of Earth Day, volunteers partnered with the Northern Colorado Wildlife Center to clean up natural spaces, protect wildlife habitats, and promote environmental stewardship.
May 2026 – The Giving Tree Donation Drive
The committee organized a Giving Tree initiative, gathering essential items and gifts to support local individuals and families in need.
June 2026 – “Ditch the Desk” Volunteering with A Little Help
Members stepped away from their desks to support A Little Help, a Colorado-based nonprofit empowering older adults to thrive at home. Volunteers assisted with seasonal yard maintenance for older adults who can no longer manage these tasks on their own.
July 2026 – Christmas in July
An afternoon of fun with a purpose—raising funds for Housing Catalyst’s Adopt-A-Family Program. With a goal of raising over $6,000, the event brings joy and generosity to the community.
August 2026 – Tour de Fat
The most outrageous costumed bicycle parade of the year returned, and FCBR is always part of the celebration! Members host a booth to connect with the community, share the mission, and join in the festivities. A portion of beer sales support local nonprofits, making the event both fun and impactful.
September 2026 – Grace Upon Grace
Volunteer day packaging diaper and period products with the Grace Upon Grace Project.
October 2026 – Oktoberfest
Funds last year were raised to support the fire recovery efforts of the Fort Collins Rescue Mission, helping provide relief and resources to those affected. Stay tuned for this year!
November 2026 – Homeward Alliance
Blanket, sleeping bag and tarp drive for Homeward Alliance.
December 2026 – Catalyst Adopt-A-Family
Gift shopping and wrapping with proceeds from Christmas in July to support Housing. Catalyst Adopt a Family program.
