Proposed FCBR Bylaws Changes to get Vote April 1st

E-mail Print PDF

Bylaws The Fort Collins Board of REALTORS® has been working to update their Bylaws, last updated in 2007, over the past 9 months after the Board of Directors asked to ensure that they be made current. A task force was assembled to update FCBR’s Bylaws in accordance with the National Association of REALTORS® 2009 Model Bylaws and to address needed local amendments.

The task force concluded its work at the end of 2009 and the proposed Bylaws were sent to NAR and FCBR’s legal counsel for final approval which was given in January of 2010. Following the legal approval the FCBR Board of Directors approved the Bylaws update to be taken to a vote of membership at its January meeting and gave further direction on how to conduct that election at the February meeting.

FCBR will hold a day long vote on April 1st from 9-5 at FCBR’s offices and 11:30-1:00 at the Lincoln Center in conjunction with our Monthly Membership Meeting.

Stay tuned for more details! If you have comments or questions please contact Clint at 402-0852 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

The Following are Highlights from the changes being proposed (To read the Bylaws as proposed in their entirety please CLICK HERE local language is in blue.)
