Tuesday, June 10: 

Nearly 71 percent of Fort Collins voters (yes, you!) cast "no" votes for the June 10 ballot measure, which would have amended the city's charter to allow some city workers to unionize. Of the 19,607 votes, 13,827 were against the measure.  Read more.

Fort Collins Council Delays 

For those who watch what the Council is doing, these last several weeks have had the feel of "retro."  And, as Astro would say, "Rut-ro!"  Two issues that have engendered lengthy discussions over the last few months - the potential rezoning of the NE quadrant of I-25 and Prospect Road and the newsracks v. newspaper "condos,"  - were moved to the backburner once again.  Prudence is one thing but are some councilmembers hoping that delay will lead to defeat?  Local media asks the same questions we are asking. Read the article and then the Coloradoan editorial.
