CAR and CARHOF Give to Tornado Victims
The CAR Leadership Team and the CARHOF Board of Directors donated $10,000 each to Stepping Stones of Windsor in a check presentation Thursday, May 29 in Windsor to help the families who sufered losses from the May 22 tornado in and around Windsor.

DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE SETTLES WITH NAR
On May 27, DOJ concluded a two-year investigation (followed by two and a half years of litigation) regarding NAR's multiple listing policy as it pertained to the display of listings from the MLS on brokers' virtual office Web sites, or VOWs confirming that MLS members must be actively engaged in real estate brokerage [large PDF file] by actually helping people buy or sell homes. The proposed order coming out of this settlement preserves the right of seller clients and brokers to protect the proper display of the listings while ensuring the widest possible online display. Brinkman Partners top Mercury 100
Brinkman Partners LLC was the fastest-growing company with earnings of more than $2 million annually in the May 2008 Mercury 100 Awards, presented by the Northern Colorado Business Report. The company recorded a 596 percent three-year growth with revenues of $31.1 million in 2007. Paul and Kevin Brinkman also took the top Mercury 100 award in 2006.
